Unfit for Human Consumption: The Problem of Flawed Writing in Criminal Justice and What to do about itThis article provides an account of the processes that are involved in the production of Crime & Delinquency. It also discusses the various "warts" and "blemishes" that are common in the submissions received by the journal. The problem of flawed writing in criminology and criminal justice appears to be a systemic rather that an individual one. Finally, a number of suggestions are offered to authors regarding ways in which writing can be improved.
